Dr. Curtis Reinkemeyer
Dr. Curtis Reinkemeyer began his studies at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri and completed his Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. Upon graduation he moved to the Washington, DC metro area where he worked for nearly six years becoming an expert in correction of the spinal structure.
He is dedicated to continuing education in his field having completed post graduate training in chiropractic for pregnancy and pediatrics, functional neurology, nutrition and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Reinkemeyer has recently opened Strother District Chiropractic, LLC to bring his knowledge and skill to the Lee’s Summit community.
Dr. Reinkemeyer’s specialty is the health, alignment and function of the spine and how it effects the neuromusculoskeletal system to promote whole body health and wellness. Patient education on how chiropractic care is an essential part of overall health is a key component to our mission here at Strother District Chiropractic. He believes that spinal correction not only helps alleviate pain symptoms, but also corrects the root cause of most patients’ complaints which is a vital approach in achieving optimum health and function. Patients benefit greatly from Dr. Reinkemeyer’s calm and confident approach to chiropractic care, and strives to help his patients live healthier, more active lives.
In his personal life, Dr. Reinkemeyer enjoys spending time with his fiancé, their giant dog, Dudley, and baby boy, Grayson. Some of his hobbies include fishing, camping, and cookouts with friends and family.

Renee Benedict - Office Manager
Renee grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. Displaying an outgoing personality and knack for communicating with others, she discovered at a young age her interest in communications. This led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations which she acquired in 2008 from Missouri State University. Upon graduating, Renee worked in the field of mobile/experiential marketing where she was a Tour Manager.
As a Tour Manager, she traveled the country for multiple clients setting up interactive events for client customers. After several years in the marketing field, Renee decided to expand her talents and embark on a new career path in cosmetology. She began her career in 2011 at Matthew Robert Color & Design in Des Peres, Missouri. It was while working at the salon that Renee continued to hone her marketing skills by achieving top sales month over month recommending various products to her salon clients. In 2013 Renee and Dr. Curtis made the decision to move to Washington, D.C. to advance their careers in a new city and develop professional relationships with others in their respective fields.
During her six years in Washington D.C., Renee continued to advance her skills focusing on her craft as a Cutting Specialist at One80 - one of the top salons in the District. It was while working at One80 that Renee discovered the power and relevance of social media and how to use it to grow a small business. After tripling her social media following on her professional account in nine months, she was tasked with creating and maintaining the brand of the salon’s social media account as well. Under her management, One80’s social media presence grew exponentially. The increased social media audience led significant numbers of new clients to the salon. In 2019, Renee and Dr. Curtis decided to bring their professional skills and expertise together as a joint venture. The two moved to the suburbs of Kansas City to be closer to their families as they begin the journey of starting their own family and opening their new business - Strother District Chiropractic, LLC (SDC). Renee brings her social media experience to SDC; leading SDC to the forefront of the chiropractic community as an integral part of the Downtown Lee’s Summit business network. Renee and Dr. Curtis look forward to continuing their careers in Lee’s Summit and immersing themselves in the local community.
